We are looking to hire a Sales development representative to join our dynamic sales team in Toronto! This candidate will be responsible for outbound sales prospecting, generating, and qualifying new leads—and moving them through the sales pipeline, getting past gatekeepers, and other prospecting-related tasks. This individual should have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at researching leads, strong communication skills and the ability to showcase our offerings compellingly is crucial for this role. The candidate should have at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
Responsibilities
- Generating new business via cold calling to business owners across North America.
- Following up on inbound marketing leads.
- Selling SAP products and services to new and existing clients.
- Developing strong customer satisfaction through phone and web contact.
- Generate and maintain a list of potential clients on an ongoing basis.
- Work with Marketing to coordinate campaigns, demand generation and EDM.
- Work with geographically dispersed members of this team.
- Meet daily assigned Sales Targets.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or equivalent 2+ years of work experience.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Strong Interpersonal skills: conversational skills and active listening to build a rapport with potential clients.
- Highly motivated, energetic, and outgoing.
- Ability to work individually as well as a team member.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks with global team members.
Good to have but not limited to:
- Experience in advertising or digital marketing
